Ronald Adams was born into a theatrical family.He trained as an Accountant. During the 20's and
30's he worked as Manager in various theatres.
Many of his productions were also performed in the West End, including "Ten Minute Alibi" at the Haymarket Theatre
in 1933, running for 2 years, "Close Quarters" and Judgement Day".
Also toured with some of his plays.
He was in the RAF in both wars. RFC/RAF pilot during WWI. Shot down and captured in early 1918. During WW2 The Battle of Britain, he
was fighter controller for the Hornchurch sector.
Wrote the following: "We Rendezvous at Ten" 1970 and "Readiness at Dawn", based on his experiences - the characters are
imaginary, but based on real facts.
He was also the Author of the following plays "An English Summer", "A Wind on the Heath", "Marriage Settlement" and "Black on Magenta".
