M. Lieutenant-Commander David Birkin RN

Made her stage debut in the Theatre Royal, Grantham in 1935. Then worked in reps around the country, including the Festival Theatre and the Liverpool Playhouse, as well as a going on tour with comedian Vic Oliver.

Wrote the screenplay for Emma in 1948 and The Bright One in 1958.
